Don't let anyone spoil the fun
Sport is fun - it gives you the opportunity to make new friends, try out new activities and amaze yourself with what you can do!
But for a few children the fun is spoilt by adults who do or say things during sporting activities that hurt or frighten them. What these children are experiencing may be abuse. And they may feel they have no one to talk to about it. Or that no one will listen to them or believe what they say.
Is something worrying you?
If you are a young person and are concerned about how someone is behaving towards you, and you feel you can't speak with your parents/guardian/teacher, it is important to talk to someone straight away. A useful source of reference has been listed below:

About The Club
At The Hull Archery Club, we are covered by the governing bodies for the sport of archery. These include Archery GB which isthe main national body which covers the entire country. Then we are also affiliated to the Northern Counties Archery Society, and also the Yorkshire Archery Association, which both cover the local area.
All three associations are compulsory within our club as this covers us for insurance etc. Unfortunateley these are not free and come with an annual cost which is due by the 1st October each year. New members joining mid season will be charged this on a pro rata basis.
Direct membership to Archery GB only can be purchased, however the reason we insist on joining all three associations is that you get a discount from your initial payment if you take all three, effectively makining it cheaper than just taking the one, so it makes sense.
