Range commands exist so everybody moves and shoots together. Never assume it is safe to collect arrows because somebody else has started walking.
Listen to the field captain
The person controlling the range determines when archers may approach the line, shoot and collect. Club-specific instructions take priority.
Emergency stop
If FAST or another emergency stop is called, stop immediately. Do not loose another arrow. Make the bow safe and wait for instructions.
Collect only when instructed
All shooting must have stopped before anybody goes forward. Check the range, neighbouring targets and any search for missed arrows before shooting resumes.
