Good target etiquette keeps people safe and prevents damaged arrows. Wait for the command before going forward and approach the target with the rest of your group.
Score first
Agree and record arrow values before touching arrows or the target face where scoring rules require it.
Pull safely
Check behind you before pulling. Stand to the side of the arrow, grip close to the target and pull in line with the shaft. Do not stand directly behind somebody pulling an arrow.
Missed arrows
Tell the group if an arrow is missing. Follow the field captain's procedure for searching and make sure everybody is back before shooting restarts.
