Draw length affects arrow length, bow fit and the draw weight you actually hold. A rough wingspan estimate can be useful for an initial conversation, but equipment should be checked at full draw.
Measure safely
Have a coach observe the archer using a light bow or measuring arrow. Do not force the archer into a longer draw just to reach a number.
Why bow length matters
A suitable bow length can improve string angle, comfort and finger clearance. Very short or very long equipment can make a good anchor harder to reproduce.
